Congratulations Sim and Louis!

A great start to a our blogging!  Louis and Smriti worked together so well as blogging buddies today and confidently took photos of the lion paintings and loaded them onto the laptop  to add to our blog.  Well done- we look forward to the next post!

Room 15 have done Amazing lions. We did dry brush painting to get them like this. We thought they looked a bit scary. We are learning about African animals of the savannahWe hope you enjoy looking at this lovely lion created  by Christy.

Letter from the Queen of England

We were so excited last week as we received a very official looking large white envelope that was sent to us from the Queen of England's lady in waiting.

We had written to tell the queen all about our wonderful mothers and her lady in waiting wrote us a letter and sent us a booklet all about the queen's life.   She included a photo of Queen Elizabeth at her coronation and a more recent one.  She looked very special in both photos.
